GATC President - General spokesperson for the Club. Serves as liaison for Club with the U.S. Forest Service, Department of Natural Resources and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. Chairs Board of Directors meetings. Brings to the board issues originating with the membership or general public.

Activities Director - Develops and schedules all GATC hikes, special events and trips; secures leaders for hikes; publishes annual GATC Yearbook.

Bulletin Editor - Prepares and publishes monthly GATC newsletter, "The Georgia Mountaineer".

Conservation Director - GATC's conservation representative.

Information & Education Director - Oversees and coordinates activities aimed at providing information and instruction to hikers, GATC members, and the general public about issues concerning the AT. Responds to requests about the AT in Georgia from the general public.

Membership Director - Processes and welcomes new club members, tracks progress of prospective members, sponsors new member orientation sessions.

Secretary/Historian - Primary responsibility for recording and maintaining records concerning activities and functions of the Club.

Trail Information - Much information about the A.T. in Georgia is available on our website or at www.appalachiantrail.org.  This is the person to contact for information not found on the website.

Trails Supervisor - To report problems & conditions on the AT in Georgia contact the GATC Trails Supervisor. The Appalachian Trail in Georgia is maintained by volunteer members of the GATC. These dedicated people put in many hours of trail maintenance each year. They constantly monitor the trail for conditions and problems that may interfere with safe and pleasurable hiking. However, you the hiker, can help us by reporting problems that you observe as you walk the trail (blow downs, weeds, shelter problems, etc...). Be specific as to location and description of the condition or problem.

Treasurer - Club Treasurer

Webmaster - Develops and maintains the GATC's website. Please e-mail the Webmaster if you have any questions, comments or suggestions about this website.

Work Trip Database Administrator - Maintains the Work Trip Database (WTD) for recording Trail work hours for GATC members and guests. Assigns usernames and passwords for club members.
