Sawyer Certification
All
volunteers using a chain saw or crosscut saw on the Chattahoochee-Oconee
National Forest must successfully complete a sawyer certification workshop.
The certification workshop, conducted by the U.S. Forest Service, prepares volunteers to safely operate a chainsaw or crosscut saw in order to remove blow downs and cut materials needed for trail-work projects. For more information contact the Trail Supervisor.
