This will be a 7.4-mile loop hike.  We will start at Lake Winfield Scott and proceed up the Slaughter Creek Trail for 2.7 miles to reach the AT.  Then we will hike on the AT to the summit of Blood Mountain.  After lunch, we'll return via the AT and the Jarrard Gap Trail.
